Chairman Kwame R. Brown, Chairperson of the Committee of the Whole; Councilmember Tommy Wells, Chairperson of the Committee on Libraries, Parks, Recreation, and Planning; and Councilmember Mary Cheh, Chairperson of the Committee on the Environment, Public Works, and Transportation will convene a public oversight roundtable to review and discuss the District's Streetcar Land Use Study. The public oversight roundtable will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the Council Chamber of the John A. Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20004

The Streetcar Land Use Study will be available on the Office of Planning website by January 26, 2012: www.planning.dc.gov. Officials from the Office of Planning, the District Department of Transportation, and the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development will be present to testify and respond to questions.

The Committee invites the public to testify. Those who wish to testify should register online or contact Ms. Tawanna Shuford at (202) 727-8204 or tshuford@dccouncil.us before 5 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2012. Individuals will have 3 minutes each for oral presenation. Time permitting, individuals representing organizations or groups will have up to 5 minutes.

If you are unable to testify at the public oversight roundtable, written statements are encourages and also will be made part of the official record.
