Status of Health Care Reform Implementation in the District of Columbia
Councilmember David A. Catania, Chair of the Committee on Health, announces a public oversight hearing on status of health care reform implementation in the District of Columbia. The public oversight hearing will be Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in room 500 of the John Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.
The purpose of this hearing is to hear updates on the District’s efforts to implement federal health care reform, the work of the Mayor’s Health Reform Implementation Committee, and the status of Health Information Technology in the District.
This hearing will be open to the public; however, only invited witnesses will be permitted to provide oral statements. Members of the public may submit written testimony which will be made part of the official record. Copies of written statements should be submitted to the Committee on Health no later than 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2011.
