Council Chairman Kwame R. Brown announces a public roundtable by the Committee of the Whole on PR19-533, the "Evans School Surplus Declaration Resolution of 2012," PR19-534, the "Evans School Disposition Approval Resolution of 2012," and PR19-539, the "Board of Zoning Adjustment Rashida Y.V. MacMurray Confirmation Resolution of 2012." The public roundtable is scheduled for February 15, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in Room 123 of the John A. Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004.

The purpose of the public roundtable is to allow public witnesses to comment on legislation that proposes to surplus the Evans School property; to dispose of the Evans School property; and to confirm Ms. MacMurray's appointment to the Board of Zoning Adjustment.

Individuals and representatives of organizations who wish to testify at the public hearing are asked to register online or telephone Priscilla McIver, Administrative Assistant to the Committee of the Whole, at (202) 724-8196, or via e-mail at pford@dccouncil.us. To participate as witnesses for the public roundtable, individuals and representatives must provide to Ms. McIver their names, addresses, telephone numbers, and organizational affiliation, if any, by the close of business, Tuesday February 14, 2012. Each confirmed witness must bring 20 copies of his/her written testimony to the roundtable. Confirmed individual witnesses will be allowed three minutes to testify, and representatives will be allowed five minutes.

Individuals and representatives who are unable to testify at the roundtable may deliver written statements to the Committee of the Whole in Suite 508 of the John A. Wilson Building. Written statements will be made part of the official record.
